Your personal private toll-free number and the operating system resides in our network, protected by an emergency generator and maintained by our technicians. You have nothing to buy, and nothing to maintain. There is no risk of theft, fraud, or abuse, because the system never allows calls to anyone except those family members and friends you have pre-selected. This added protection frees you from the hassle of carrying cards, passcodes, and other security measures. However, pass code protection can be provided, which somewhat limits the usefulness of the inbound messaging functions. Messages are recorded digitally, providing the best in sound quality the telephone instrument used by the caller will allow

Each individual family member or friend placed in your system will be assigned a 2-digit or 3-digit ‘extension’ number. It serves as a ‘speed dial’, eliminating the need to re-dial the number each time you call, and it prevents unauthorized personnel from obtaining ‘dial tone’ or the ability to make unauthorized calls to others.. Calls are completed quickly and efficiently using Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) Primary Rate Interface (PRI) digital circuits.

You don’t need a sophisticated phone to use the ‘speed dial’ features.. All of your friends and family members, at any location, can be listed in the directory using a methodology of your choice. Entering the first three letters of the first or last name works well as an indexing/retrieving system. The directory announces the full name and extension of the individual matching the three letter key pad selection, and offers an opportunity to connect. Individuals listed may reside anywhere in the world, and the caller will connect promptly to the telephone number for that individual pre-programmed into the system. If you remember the extensions of frequently called numbers, or you choose to eliminate the directory, you may enter the extension directly, bypassing the directory. Our long distance and international rates are so cheap, you may want to include many of your frequently called friends who live outside the U.S. to save even more money.

The ‘greeting’ message can be your personal and detailed ‘menu’ of the products and services available within the system, acting as a ‘gateway’, or it can simply be a standard voice mail prompt for other callers to leave a massage. The number provided is private and unlisted. You may choose to keep it private, or give it to family and friends. If you choose to use the system as your primary ‘voice mail’ system, calls unanswered at your personal local phone can be forwarded automatically to the system. All of the special feature commands will remain operational, whether or not the greeting announces message ‘prompts’ to guide you.

This bonus feature allows you to converse with many other family members - all at the same time. Up to two dozen (24) people can hold a telephone meeting by calling your FF4 system toll-free number. Simply reserve the meeting room with a call to Customer Service and reaffirm your family pass code. The meeting room will be available when they call.

This exciting feature allows family members to post important and personal information when everyone isn’t available. For example, a birth announcement at 4:00 AM. Any family member may record a message for all to hear. The messages will be played automatically in the order of the most recently recorded, and a housekeeping feature will remove any announcement over a week old.

There is nothing more reassuring than the sound of a human voice. That’s why we think it’s important for customers who require assistance to be able to receive it - without complications. You may elect to reach a Customer Service agent as a listed option within the system itself, without dialing a separate number.
