The Telecompute Corporation Local Service Network
The Telecompute Corporation Local Service Network (LSN) was developed to serve the growing needs of information providers (IPs) who may require local telephone service, dedicated lines, leased lines, fractional T-1, or a host of other telecommunications services, delivered to or installed at a specific locality other than their normal business headquarters. While the major interexchange carriers (IXCs) and regional Bell operating Companies (RBOCs) are only talking about 'one stop shopping', the Telecompute Corporation is making it a reality. The network is founded upon 18 years experience as a local services provider to IPs offering specialty applications which combine pay-per-call services with local access. Examples include: 976, 555, re-directed 900 service, free local score phones, voice mail, computer/telephone equipment hosting and service, local telephone line installation, and combinations thereof. The Telecompute Corporation owns and operates telephone call center and equipment hosting facilities in Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. Through affiliates, the network has been expanded to include the major markets of New York, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco and many more cities. (See Map). 24-Hour Customer Support is provided via 1-800-USA-CITY. The Telecompute Corporation Network Operations Center (NOC) coordinates all installations, follow-up visits, and repairs when necessary. Information Providers may handle their own telephone installation/ordering, or they may choose to delegate that responsibility to Telecompute at no cost over local telco rates. There is no charge for either coordinating the order or supervising and assisting with the installation. Follow-up visits, and repairs if necessary, are billed by Telecompute as part of the IPs regular consolidated monthly statement.
* Surcharge may apply in some high rent cities Page updated: 12/13/2004 10:50PM | Printer Friendly Version
